Most Saturdays we have our Catechism class after Matins (roughly at 10am). These are educational classes, for anyone who has questions or wants to learn more about the Orthodox Faith. These classes explore the fundamental beliefs, doctrine, history, practices, and sacraments (Holy Mysteries) of the Orthodox Church.

This year, we will be reading through "The Orthodox Faith"  by Fr Thomas Hopko. This is a series that is available online for free, or for purchase from SVS Press. 

As we continue our readings for our Saturday Catechism classes, please focus on the following sections which we will discuss Saturday, Jan 31:

Volume I - Doctrine and Scripture: The Symbol of Faith

  1. Sin
  2. Jesus Christ
  3. Son of God
  4. Incarnation
  5. Redemption
  6. Resurrection

Fr. Chris and/or Fr. Michael will speak for about 45 minutes to an hour and throughout there will be time for discussion and questions.
